Chapter 2272: Isn’t this too fast?

Since it was decided that I would find the fourth inheritance after the wedding, things became much more simple.

It wasn’t as if we had to rush around to take care of things, everything had already been taken care of.

They had planned the wedding as a sort of distraction for me to do what needed to be done, but it was different now since I was attending the wedding as well.

It was just that they decided to use me as a sort of sacrifice.

There were those that had come to the wedding to get closer to the Kite Kingdom, which was why they had been trying to talk to Noah the entire time since he was the prime minister.

But because of this, it did take him away from his duties as the groom.

Which was why I was tossed out as a scapegoat.

I didn’t mind this since it was his wedding and he was supposed to enjoy it, but this certainly was a bit out of my normal scope. Which was why the chancellor actually followed me and helped me navigate most of this.

Without the chancellor’s help, I certainly would have been lost.

The prime minister and the chancellor were the ones that took care of the country’s governing most of the time, so there really was no one that was better suited to helping me answer these questions.

He was even a bit too good that he scared some of the people that came to see us.

It was as if they were afraid that they would be fleeced for everything that they had with how quickly they ran away.

Still, it meant that Noah was at least able to sleep with his wife each night.

The entire ceremony took two entire weeks to finish.

A normal wedding ceremony was something that was done in a single day, but it was different for a royal wedding. There were all kinds of formal procedures that one had to finish.

At the same time, one had to think about the guests that weren’t normal.

Which was why these two weeks were given for them to accomplish their goals in coming to this wedding.

By the end of it, we were all exhausted from having to deal with everything.

However, it didn’t seem like things were over yet.

It wasn’t that there was someone else that came looking for something, it was just that there was something off about the bride.

I was actually the first one to notice it and it was quite the strange sensation for me.

However, I could easily tell that there was something that had changed about the aura that came from her the moment that I saw her. It was as if there was something extra that was added onto that aura.

After I noticed this, I had the doctor come and run some tests.

"It’s confirmed."

When the doctor said this, all of us couldn’t help being caught off guard.

Then we all turned to look at Noah with strange looks to which an awkward expression appeared on his face. This certainly wasn’t something that he had been expecting either since it had only been a few days since the wedding.

"You really are something." I was the one that broke the silence by slapping Noah on the back while saying this.

The expression on his face became even more awkward, but there was no hiding the joy that was in his eyes.

After all, this was a happy occasion.

What the doctor had confirmed was that Sakura was pregnant.

It was so early that the doctor was completely caught off guard when the results came and he even looked at me with a strange look since I was the one that called him. Only it wasn’t as if I could really explain why I knew this.

Once the awkwardness passed, everyone started congratulating the new groom and bride on this accomplishment.

For the women, they all went over to Sakura’s side and started asking her how she felt, as well as seeing if they could do anything for her.

As for us men...

"You really are fast. It seems like you couldn’t hold back at all, getting it on just a few days after the wedding."

Since we were men, we naturally had to tease Noah about this.

He had just gotten married and he already had a child on the way, one had to admit that this really was something quite amazing.

Though before that, we also asked something else.

"Are you sure that you didn’t have some fun before the wedding?"

It didn’t seem likely that a child would be conceived during this wedding period, so we all thought that Noah had already snuck into Sakura’s room before this and that was when the baby was conceived.

But it turned out that he was quite the shy one.

"I’ve never been in her room before that first wedding night."

It wasn’t just him alone, it was also the bride that insisted that they didn’t do anything before the wedding. These two were surprisingly very proper when it came to matters like this.

They waited until they were formally married before sealing the deal.

The innocence that the two of them demonstrated made me feel a bit embarrassed since I wasn’t someone that had done the same thing. I was someone that had rushed things and done everything before the wedding.

In a way, it was amazing that they were this innocent until the wedding came considering what this world was based on.

In a world based on a h-game, it was rare to see people that were this pure.

It wasn’t as if they didn’t exist since there were people that had those kinds of taste, but it really didn’t feel like these two would be the kind.

Regardless, Noah was filled with happiness because he was about to become a father.

It made him even more determined to protect this world and this kingdom.
