"Nice job, Hope~"
Watching Number 39: Utopia fold its white wings and return to her field, Akasha praised it proudly.
"HAHAHAHA!"
Even though his own monster had just been destroyed, Naglfar's gigantic body erupted into thunderous laughter.
"The Twelve Beasts! Number 39: Utopia! You humans truly don't understand what kind of power you're wielding, do you? This world really does need to be burned away! Purified by the infernal flames of natural disaster itself!"

Akasha waved her hand dismissively.
"I don't care what kind of power this is. All I know is that right here and now, I'm going to use the Zoodiacs and Utopia to take you down!"
"Don't forget about us too, Akasha!" Raviel forcibly inserted herself into the moment.
"Weren't you already discarded to the Graveyard?" Hamon immediately retorted.

Naglfar flipped open one of his Set cards. Before the Battle Phase had even ended, the blazing battlefield erupted once more with boiling flames.

As the territory of Naglfar spread across the battlefield, Akasha was forced to draw one card from her deck due to the effect of Generaider Boss Fight, which in turn triggered the Field Spell's effect.

"Um…"
Blair awkwardly pointed toward the remaining monsters on Akasha's field that still hadn't attacked.

When Naglfar was successfully summoned, four Generaider Tokens floated into existence around the gigantic monster.
"When a Generaider monster is Special Summoned during the opponent's turn, I can Special Summon as many Generaider Tokens as possible!"

The gigantic dragon lance swung forward. Transforming into the roaring strike of a flying dragon, the spearhead locked onto the burning body of Naglfar and pierced through the flames with overwhelming destructive force.

A massive hole was blasted through Naglfar's chest. The flaming body that had only just materialized onto the duel field began scattering apart into drifting embers.
"A decent counterattack… but far too weak!"
Just before being destroyed, Naglfar's gigantic claw grabbed one of the floating Generaider Tokens and devoured it directly into his own body.

The gigantic dragon lance wrapped with the green serpent spun forward in a piercing charge. The roaring dragon and snake intertwined together like twin dragons rampaging wildly as the attack impaled Naglfar, Generaider Boss of Fire from head to toe.
"A useless attack!"
Once again, Naglfar grabbed a nearby Generaider Token and tossed it into his mouth, chewing it apart to activate its destruction substitution effect.
"As a substitute for battle destruction, I destroy another Generaider Token instead!"

A smug grin spread across Akasha's face as her finger remained pressed atop the Zoodiac Drident card.
"The relentless assault of the Twelve Beasts—the strike of dragons and serpents dancing together—isn't something that can be blocked so easily. And now it's time to send you packing~"
The serpent extending from Drident's spearhead suddenly ignored the searing flames entirely and coiled itself around the gigantic body of Naglfar, Generaider Boss of Fire.
"When Zoodiac Whiptail is attached beneath a Beast-Warrior Xyz Monster as material, it grants Drident a brand-new effect—"

Together with the green serpent coiling around its body, Naglfar, Generaider Boss of Fire was dragged into the void. Despite still having Generaider Tokens available to substitute for destruction, the follow-up effect of the dragon-and-serpent combo bypassed destruction entirely and banished the monster outright.

Jaden crossed his arms and nodded in agreement.
"I totally get how you feel, Minazuki. No matter what, a 'Proof of the King' card should definitely be saved for the climax."
"Why do you two always reach a consensus over the weirdest things?" Syrus complained.
"But duels don't always unfold in dramatic storybook fashion," Bastion warned uneasily. "And the Zoodiacs Akasha is using are Beast-Warriors too. She needs to be careful."

The familiar scene repeated itself. The rapidly spinning dragon lance locked onto the Flame Realm King's vital point the instant it appeared and unleashed its maximum-power strike.
But this time, the same tactic did not produce the same result.
Naglfar, Generaider Boss of Fire blocked the lance strike with its flaming claw, then opened its blazing maw wide and directly swallowed Zoodiac Drident whole.
"!!!∑(ﾟДﾟノ)ノ Huh?! You ate the wrong thing—spit it back out!"
Akasha froze in complete confusion. Before she could even process what had happened, the glow of the Zoodiac Drident card on her Duel Disk mercilessly faded away.
