Chapter 638: Atlas Hates This Explanation
Chapter 638: Atlas Hates This Explanation
Garion’s body had now changed so much that they almost did not recognize him anymore.
His body had become even taller, broader, and sharper, like every muscle had been carved from divine stone.
His chest, shoulders, arms, and back looked overwhelmingly strong, but not overly bulky in a clumsy way. Instead, everything looked perfectly balanced for beauty, combat, and movement.
His skin carried faint black-purple divine cracks, like gravity itself had been engraved beneath the surface.
Those glowing lines pulsed slowly, spreading across his arms, shoulders, chest, and neck like living constellations.
His hair had grown longer, wild and thick, flowing around him with dark-purple energy curling through the strands.
It looked messy, but in a strange way, it only made him look even more dangerous.
And his eyes had changed the most.
They glowed with a deep purple light, arrogant and filled with strange pressure. Just looking at them would make anyone tremble.
Rachel only stared at the new and improved Garion. For a moment, she was unable to speak at all.
Atlas, on the other hand, was completely shocked and shouted.
[What the hell is this...?]
At that moment, Garion’s finger twitched.
His eyes quickly moved.
And instantly...
BOOOOM!
A terrifying pressure erupted from Garion’s body, shaking the entire library and shocking both Rachel and Atlas.
Rachel quickly unleashed her aura to resist it, but suddenly, the pressure from Garion disappeared.
Then Garion’s body began to move.
Garion slowly sat up and walked out of the divine pod. For a moment, he looked down at his hands, clenching and unclenching his fingers.
He also looked at his own body, touched his chest, and felt the place where his heart should have been crushed.
It had completely healed.
He knew that this body was still his body.
But at the same time, it had become something far more connected, far more complete, and far more dangerous.
Garion then lifted his head and suddenly let out a loud laugh. "Hahahaha... damn... this feels really amazing."
Rachel stared at him for one more second, surprised that Garion had seemingly revived without any problem.
Then, without hesitation, she rushed forward and hugged him tightly.
Garion froze for a moment, then smiled and hugged her back. "I told you I’d come back."
Rachel buried her face against his chest. "Idiot."
Garion laughed softly. "Yeah."
Atlas floated closer, still staring at him like he was looking at a problem that had somehow become even worse.
[So? What the hell did you become?]
Garion looked at him and grinned. "Hehe. I’ll tell you later. For now, let’s return to my room first."
---
A short while later, Garion, Rachel, and Atlas returned to Garion’s room inside the temporary God Gym base.
Garion sat on the edge of the bed, still clenching and unclenching his hands as he felt the strange new connection running through every part of his body.
Rachel sat beside him, watching him carefully.
Atlas floated in front of them with his arms crossed, still staring at Garion like he was some kind of dangerous experiment that had somehow escaped containment.
[All right.]
Atlas narrowed his eyes.
[Explain.]
Garion grinned. "You sound impatient."
[You died, entered the pod, came out looking like a divine problem, and now your aura feels even more ridiculous than before. Of course I’m impatient.]
Rachel nodded softly. "I also want to know what happened."
Garion leaned back slightly and looked down at his own hand. "The reason I had to die was because it made the process easier."
Atlas frowned.
[Easier?]
Garion nodded. "Yeah. My soul had to leave my body first."
Rachel’s expression tightened slightly, but she stayed quiet.
Garion continued, "My body became the foundation material. The [Divine Pod] rebuilt it from the inside out, transforming it into the base of my [Divine Relic]."
Atlas froze, then pointed his hand at him.
[Wait... are you saying your current body is basically a Divine Relic?]
Garion snapped his fingers. "Exactly."
Atlas stared at him.
Rachel’s eyes also widened slightly.
Garion laughed. "Of course. Didn’t I say it before? In my vision, everything supports each other."
He tapped his own chest. "The body supports the relic, the relic strengthens the body, mana activates it, and the soul gives it identity. So in the end, the best result isn’t just holding a relic or wearing one."
His grin widened. "The best thing is basically directly fusing the body and Divine Relic together."
Atlas went silent.
Garion looked down at himself. "Right now, the [Divine Relic] is basically part of my body. No, more than that. My body itself is the sealed state."
Rachel slowly repeated, "Sealed state..."
Garion nodded. "Basically, my human form. The form everyone will normally see."
Atlas narrowed his eyes.
[Then what about the unsealed state?]
Garion’s smile slowly became mysterious. "That one... you’ll see later."
Atlas’s eyebrow twitched.
[Don’t tell me you’re hiding information from me now.]
Garion laughed, clearly enjoying his reaction. "Hehe. You always hide information from me, remember? So this time, it’s my turn."
Atlas stared at him in silence.
[Bastard. But what about your body? How the hell did it change so much?]
Garion pointed at him and grinned. "Also, the reason why my body changed so much... you’ll understand when you enter the [Divine Pod] yourself."
Atlas froze again.
[Excuse me?]
Garion’s grin became even more evil. "You heard me."
Atlas immediately backed away.
[Hold on. I’m not like you. I’m a system.]
Garion stood up slowly, smiling like a villain. "So?"
[So I don’t have a normal body to kill and rebuild!]
Garion laughed loudly. "Hahaha! Don’t worry. The [Divine Pod] probably has a method for you too."
Atlas’s face darkened.
[Probably?]
Garion pointed at him. "Relax. You can ask the other members why after they transform later."
Atlas looked toward Rachel.
Rachel smiled gently. "Don’t worry, Atlas. I’ll tell you after I transform later."
Atlas stared at her, then slowly sighed.
[Fine. I surrender this time.]
Garion laughed.
For the first time since entering the divine pod, the tension in the room finally eased.
