I am concerned for your safety..." Elder Song was both surprised and dumbfounded by Yohan’s decision. He didn’t understand why he was taking that kind of risk by putting his life on the line when he could simply take their help. Up until now, Elder Song had already realized that Yohan could easily trample the entire Kingdom with the help of his partners.
At this very moment, Aana moved close to him, taking his hand in her hands.
"This old man is indeed right... at least let me come with you. You don’t have to do this alone. It will be great if I go with you and help you get rid of those people. Forget about others, just take me with you!" Aana exclaimed while having a serious look on her face. Similar to Elder Song, she was also concerned about Yohan’s decision. She didn’t want him to leave on his own, all by himself. After all, the northern family was involved with those branch families, and knowing them, they were definitely going to pull some dirty tricks on him. For some reason, she felt worried for Yohan’s safety.
Elder Song bitterly smiled hearing Aana, while Athena sighed in a defeated manner seeing Aana. She indeed behaved somewhat differently when it came to Yohan.
"Look, I understand... but trust me, I got this!" Yohan simply took her face between his palms, and the next moment, he placed his lips on her forehead, taking her by surprise. Elder Song and Lucine simply moved their heads in different directions, feeling flustered. Athena simply frowned, seeing how she got attention all the time.
"I know you are worried, but it’s alright. Just stay here with the others. I will be back in no time, I promise!" Yohan added while looking into Aana’s eyes. At the end, Aana took a deep breath, knowing he was not going to change his mind no matter how hard she tried to persuade him. He was always like that, doing things on his own, not wanting to rely on others.
"Take care of everything in my absence. I am counting on you!" Yohan whispered, looking at both Aana and Athena.
"Don’t worry, I’ll take care of everything in your absence!" With those words, Athena moved close to him, and then she simply kissed him on the cheek. Aana clicked her tongue, but nevertheless, she placed her lips on the other side of his cheek.
Both Elder Song and Lucine were watching this. Lucine was indifferent; after all, he was getting used to it. At first, it was indeed surprising knowing he had extraordinary partners, but later he realized Yohan himself was extraordinary. No wonder he attracted beauties with extraordinary backgrounds.
At the same time, Elder Song had this dumb look on his face, wondering how in the world he got so lucky in such a short amount of time, getting all that attention from those women. Not to forget, two of them were Lady Evelyn’s disciples, and the other two that he met tonight had mysterious backgrounds, whom he had never seen before but knew both of them were extraordinary.
Meanwhile, at the same time, Yohan was occupied in his own thoughts, unbothered about everything that was happening around him. The blue screen right before his eyes was floating and showing an emergency quest that he received a couple of minutes ago. That was the only reason why he denied taking anyone’s help, in order to fulfill the requirements of the quest.
"Is everything alright?" Athena whispered, seeing him in a daze. Yohan snapped out of it and he nodded his head with a smile.
"Yes, everything is fine... I am going to meet my mother before leaving..." he added, and asked them to take care of everything in his absence. All of them simply assured him not to worry about the clan in his absence.
A moment later, he disappeared from the sky in order to see Alena. Once Yohan left, Aana turned to Athena while having this serious look on her face.
"What?" Athena asked in an annoyed manner. Lucine and Elder Song simply watched.
"Are you really okay to let him go all alone? I don’t know about you, but I care for him. If anything happens to him, then I am going to destroy everything..." Aana exclaimed while having that killing intent in her eyes. Elder Song and Lucine felt a chilly sensation all around their bodies, while Athena remained calm, completely unbothered by Aana’s words.
Seeing her like that, Aana clicked her tongue in a frustrated manner.
"I am going to meet my master... and ask her to stop him. She is the only one who can change his mind..." Aana exclaimed, and the next moment, she disappeared from that place.
"Tsk, she is pretty annoying..." Athena whispered, and the next moment, she also disappeared, leaving Lucine and Elder Song behind.
Elder Song’s facial expressions were somewhat different, wondering about the meaning behind Aana’s words.
"Is Lady Evelyn inside the clan...?" He looked at the young man right next to him and asked him in a trembling voice. Lucine took a long sigh hearing him, and then he simply nodded his head.

He was taken aback; after all, Evelyn was someone who didn’t get involved with worldly matters and politics. She was a warlord who was assigned to protect the borders of the northern region and guard one of the four heavenly prisons.
Elder Song gulped nervously, thinking about something. Beads of sweat could be seen on his face for some unknown reason.
"Are you alright, old man?" Lucine asked, seeing him all that nervous. Elder Song looked at Lucine and gulped nervously, trying to calm himself.
"Look, kid, I have to go somewhere... I will see you later. Until then, do your best to look after this place!" With those words, Elder Song disappeared in haste, leaving Lucine confused with his sudden disappearance.
